Jay Shepheard is coming to The Cellar to kick off the first day of SUMMER in fine fashion with an exclusive live set!

Following a background behind the scenes in the dance music industry, first in music PR then seven years working at UK online music store Juno Records, Jay Shepheard has gone on to build a reputation as one of the key figures in the new wave of electronic music.

Starting in back in 2007 with a string of EPs on Munich’s Compost Black Label Jay has gone on to release productions and remixes with a diverse range of influential labels including Buzzin Fly, Rebirth, Freerange and Diynamic. These releases have consistently achieved critical acclaim from DJs, music lovers and the press alike and earned him nominations for Best Deep House act of 2007 and Best Nu Disco act of 2009 in the Beatport Music Awards.

Alongside working with established labels Jay also launched his own boutique label Retrofit in February of 2010 and was picked as label to watch in 2011 on Beatport. The releases have been heavily supported by the likes of Seth Troxler, Prins Thomas, Ooft, The Revenge, Trevor Jackson, Tornado Wallace, Ben Watt, Pete Herbert, Jacques Renault, Social Disco Club and a ton of others.
